Margaret Clara Fine Carson, 89, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, April 7, 2011.
Margaret was born to Napoleon F. Fine and Mae Gibson Fine on May 26, 1921 in Dayton, TN.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Eugene Leonard Carson; sisters, Nell Jones and Ann Reeves; and brother, Johnny "Jimmy" Fine.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Rev. Wayne (Carolyn) Carson, of St. Louis, MO, and Terry (Brenda) Carson, of Panama City Beach, FL; only daughter, Margaret Gail Carson, of St. Louis, MO; sisters: Betty Arendale, of Harrison, Jo (Bryant) Cofer, of Chattanooga, TN and Judy (Doc) Neely, of Red Bank, TN; sisters-in-law, Erma (Harry) Wallace and Lois Carson, both of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Stephen (Heather) Carson, Jonathan (Jennifer) Carson and Rachel (Keith) Douchant, all of St. Louis, MO, Wendy (John) Oros, of Naples, FL, Brandy (Jason) Pierce, of Battle Creek, MI, and Cyndi (Lloyd) Kadlec, of San Diego, CA; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN.
