PRINCETON, Iowa -- Services for Robert W. "Bob'' Zugg, 64, of Princeton, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Services will include Masonic rites. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Mr. Zugg died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at his home.
He retired in 1988 after 30 years as a machinist at the Rock Island Arsenal.
Robert Wayne Zugg was born Nov. 1, 1933, to Wayne and Florence (Lucas) Zugg in Iowa City. He married Glenda Rollins. She passed away in 1982.
Mr. Zugg spent his childhood in DeWitt, and had lived in the Davenport area since then. He was a member of the Davenport Masonic Lodge #37 and AARP. He was a loving father and best friend.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be extended to the family.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Zugg, Davenport; a grandson, Robert Zugg; two sisters, Judy Karlstrom, Richmond, Va., and Darlene Kettelsen, Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Zugg.
