Rheba E. Rasbury, 93, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011, at a healthcare facility. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Chapel followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Rheba was born June 6, 1917, in Denton. She married her husband of 53 years in 1946 in Denton. They lived in Decatur and moved to Fort Worth in 1956. She was an Avon representative for over 35 years retiring in 2007. Rheba was a cancer survivor with a strong "think positive" attitude. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Rasbury, and three sisters.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Larry McLaughlin of Irving; son, Paul Rasbury of Haltom City; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Ann Rasbury of Missouri City; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
