E.C. Frock, 44 years, Woodsborro, died at the Frederick County Hospital on Saturday afternoon about 12:30 o'clock from injuries recieved about 9:20 o'clock on Saturday morning when he walked into an open elevator shart at the wholesale grocery house of Harris & Filler, East Patrick Street, and fell headlong to the floor beneath, a distance of about nine or ten feet. Frock sustained a factured skull from the fall. He was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident. He did not regain conciousness.
Frock conducted a store in Woodsboro and went to the Harris and Filler establishment on Saturday to transact some business.
He is survived by his wife and son, Charles H. at home and one daughter, Olive M. also at home. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Winebrener, LeGore; Mrs. Annie Dayhoff, Key Mar; Mrs. Olive Deberry, Detour; and Mrs. Ruth A. Hahn, New Midway. Five brothers survive. They are Harry W. and Emory M. both of Baltimore, George B., Key Mar, Howard, Hudson Bridge and John W., Detour. The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning from his home. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Harris Wilkersville.
