John died at the home of his parents having been ill a few days. His parents moved from Colorado to Lewis, KS when he was a baby. They moved to Junction City and he attended Junction City Schools. He was employed by the John Kemp Grocery store. He was a Boy Scout and a member of DeMolay. He is survived by his parents and three sisters, Lucille, Margaret, and Marjorie. Services will be held at the Pritchard Funeral Home; conducted by Rev T F B Smith of the Presbyterian Church. "John McChristy was a fine, industrious boy. He was formerly a Daily Union carrier and served his route courteously and efficiently."
