Herbert H. Green, 65, of 101 W. Legion Blvd. , Owensboro, died Saturday, July 3, 1993, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in Daviess County and was a retired concrete finisher. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, a member of the VFW and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Irma D. Green; two brothers, a twin, Henry E. Green of Rumsey and Joseph F. Green of Owensboro; two sisters, Margaret Hutchison and Ollie Hagan, both of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Owensboro. Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Hospice Association Inc. Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1403, Owensboro, Ky. 42303.
