Mary Katherine Cossin
Mary Katherine Cossin, age 88, of Columbus, Ohio went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2012.
She was born March 18, 1924, the third of seven children born to the late John Bruff and Margaret Marie (Glock) Bigelow; also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Hoschar.
She was the mother of four children, Carl “Fred” Cossin, John Richard Cossin (deceased), Mike (Holly) Cossin and Paul Hoschar; grandchildren, Tim (deceased), Tammy, John, Michael, Mark and Kristie; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family and dear friends; also survived by her first husband, Carl Virgil Cossin and sisters, Patty Bowing and Phyllis Eddington.
Mary retired from Westinghouse with 27 years of service and was an active member of Alkire Road Church of Christ. She put her faith in action through helping with missions, clothing drives, feeding the homeless and singing for the sick.
Family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43204, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday; 1:30 p.m. graveside service at Riverview Cemetery, Middleport, Ohio.
