Ellis, co-owner with his son Amon Ellis of Ellis Supply and Electric Company of OIney
Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God Church, with Rev. W C. Harding, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Ellis had lived in OIney since 1925. He and his two brothers operated Ellis Brothers Garage from 1925 until 1937, when he and his son Amon established the electric and supply company.
He was a private flying enthusiast, owning and operating his own plane for several years. He was active in the organization of a Civil Air Patrol unit here about 10 years ago and served as an officer in the squadron.
Ellis married Filia Sandoval in Trinidad, Coloraod in 1918.
Survived by his wife; son - Amon Ellis of Olney; two brothers - Cecil Ellis of Corning, CA, Ace Ellis of Henrietta; sister - Mrs. Lena Andrews of Graham; nephew of his wife, James Lehman Sandoval, who lived in the Ellis home.
