She died Jan 6 at the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital after being ill for five months. Born in Rockville NE, she attended school in the Cairo, NE area. She married Lloyd S McAllister June 16, 1909. She came to hardin in 1916. Seven years later the family opened the hardin Hardware. Her husband died in 1946 and the pat 18 years she had made her home in Hardin and California.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Melvin Cook of Hardin and Mrs Harriett Lung of Panama City, CA; a brother, Walker Barnebey of San Antonio TX; three sisters Ruby Barnebey of Santa Clara CA, Ethel Barnebey of Oakland CA and mrs Elmer Grossman of Grove City OH; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One grandchild, Carol Stire, Walt of San Diego, was raised by Mrs McAllister. Burial was at Hardin Fairview Cemetery.
