THE DEATH OF ELSIE MAE CORNELL
Mrs. Elsie Mae Cornell, 64, of 8912 E. County Road 900 S., died at 7:37 p.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been in failing health since June, and hospitalized two weeks. Mrs,. Cornell was formerly employed at Consolidated Industries in Lafayette. Born in Clinton county, Mach 5, 1921, she had lived in the Clinton-Tippecanoe county area all her life, and was educated in Clinton County schools. She graduated form Frankfort High School. Her marriage was Sept 29, 1940, in Frankfort, to Cecil G. Cornell, a state highway department employee. He died March 12, 1984. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Brummet and Mrs. Charles (Judy) Gustafson, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. Earl (Romona) House of Roff, Okla.; and two brothers, Walter Walker of Jerseyville, Ill., and Wilbur Walker of Stockwell. One son, a brother, and one sister preceded in death. Monroe Cemetery.
