Maude Edith Cantrell Rankin, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Redwater Cemetery with the
Rev. Don Bowman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of East Funeral Home. Mrs. Rankin was born April 17, 1896, in Camden County, Mo. Surviovrs include five
sisters, Clara Birdsong of Lubbock, Texas, Ruth Birdsong of Wichita Falls, Texas, Mae Calvert of Muleshoe, Texas, and Mildred Rubush and Roby Burns, both of Lancaster, Calif.; one brother, Paul Edward Barton of Lamesa, Texas; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will be at the home
of Mrs. Ben M. Cantrell, Red Springs Community.
