John W. Helton died Thursday night at his home in Mahalasville, death resulting from an attack of paralysis. He had not been in good health for the past few years. The deceased was sixty-two years of age and is survived by his wife, three daughters -- Mrs. Will Cramer south of this city and Misses Eva and Bell Helton; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Davidson, Mrs. Susan Stevenson and Mrs. Julia Rapier, all of this city.
