Stricken with a heart attack about 5 a.m. Monday, the Rev Walter B. Branham, 73, Route 6, died three hours later in Chillicothe Hospital. An evangelist for the last four years, the Rev Mr Branham had been failing in health. He was born in Wise County WV on Jan 2, 1886, the son of John and Belle Cleavenger Branham, and served in WWI. He was a member of the Church of God at Richmondale.

Surviving are his wife, the former Missouri Hall, whom he married March 24, 1911; a daughter, Mrs. Theodore Coy, Maysville, KY; four sons, Walter Jr, this city, Herbert, Route 1, David, Route 6, and John at home; three sisters, Mrs. Spencer Adams and Mrs. Ollie Saylers, both of Haymond, Ky, and Mrs. Belle Saylers, Louisville, Ky; and a brother, Ben Branham, Seco, Ky.

Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
