Her father had been born in Coolbrook, Bannow Parrish, County Wexford, Ireland on 11 Apr 1864 and had arrived in arrived in the Port of New York on this 08 Oct 1897 on board the "SS Campania" having departed from Queenstown, Ireland on 3 Oct 1897, from there he traveled to Chicago, IL. On 25 Jun 1903 Edward married Johanna Morgan, also from Ireland.

In 1909, when only 2 years old, she travelled with her parents back to County Wexford, Ireland to visit her father’s Neville family, and arrived back in America on 17 Dec 1909, having departed from Queenstown, Ireland on the "SS Mauretania." Her father was a Street Car Conductor and died in Chicago on 07 Feb 1934. In 1940 Margaret was living with her widowed mother at 7223 N. Claremont Ave., in Chicago. At that time, Margaret was an English teacher in a “private school” earning $1,500 per year. Margaret was a devout Catholic, so it is assumed this was a parochial school. The census indicates she had finished four years of college.
Sometime after 1940, she went back to school and received her PhD, and thereafter she was known as “Dr. Neville.”
Margaret never married. At some point, probably after retirement, she moved to 1174 Hampshire Avenue, Deltona, Volusia Co., Florida, where she shared a residence with a Miss Marie A. Donovan, who was also from Chicago. Marie had an Oldsmobile Cutlass and took Margaret everywhere she needed to go, since Margaret never learned to drive. Both Margaret and Marie attended St. Clare Catholic Church, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, FL.
Eventually Margaret moved into Deltona Health Care, at 1851 Elkcam Blvd., Deltona, FL. Margaret Mary Neville passed away on 24 Jul 1998, a Friday, at the age of 91 year, 3 months and 27 days. She was laid to rest in Hollywood Cemetery, Orange City, Volusia Co., FL.
