She was a 60-year resident of Nitro and a retired licensed practical nurse from Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and member of the Nitro Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Romie H. Lovejoy.
She is survived by her children, Mildred V. Lovejoy of Cross Lanes; sons, Donnie R. Lovejoy of Nitro, Ralph C. Lovejoy of Brunswick, Ohio, and Paul H. Lovejoy of Frostburg, MD; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Toler officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, in Mount Alto, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to service time on Tuesday.
