Rob's daughter, Melissa Ann Bordeaux, passed away on March 3, 2019.

BLADENBORO -- Rob Bordeaux, 72, of 5372 N.C. 131 South died Monday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethel Baptist Church in Dublin by the Rev. Jerry Beck. Burial will be in the Bordeaux family cemetery.

Mr. Bordeaux is survived by his wife, Sophie T. Bordeaux of the home; four daughters, Patricia, Robbie and Melissa all of Bladenboro,and Alice of Elizabethtown; six sisters, Carrie of Dublin, Sarah ,Lanie and Margaret, all of Elizabethtown, Rosa of Tar Heel and Ellen of Newport News, Va.; five brothers, Rufus Bordeaux, Tharp Bordeaux and Charlie Bordeaux, all of Elizabethtown, Matt Bordeaux of Newport News and W.J. Bordeaux of Leland; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Kinlaw Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Memorials may be made to Tar Heel Rescue Squad.
