Their birth certificates states that Lela is the mother of 10 children, her age 39, all living at the time of the birth of these twins. French Taylor, their father is a farmer, his age is listed as 62 at the time of their birth.
We also find where Lela gave birth to Bessie Taylor, December 21, 1918.
She was the daughter of Dick Barnett and Nettie Walker. She was 62 years old when she passed away from pneumonia. Aunt Lil was living at 106 E Goliad in Crockett. Wesley Taylor was the informant on the death certificate.
