The Reverend Fred Foster Quicksall graduated from the Pennington (NJ) Seminary and served in Quakertown, New Hope, Delaware Water Gap and Holmesburg before becoming pastor of the Mt. Hermon Methodist Church at 19th and Porter Streets. He died of pneumonia.

Fred was a 32nd degree mason and held high offices in several orders.

For a time, in his younger days, Fred also worked alongside his father Joseph K Quicksall at the hardware store they both owned on Mill Street in Bristol Boro.

Fred was the son of Joseph K and Elizabeth C(nee Lyndall) Quicksall and the father of Helen Porter Quicksall and Harold Parry Quicksall
