DUMONT - Donald Calvin Allbee, 93, of Dumont, died Sunday, April 8, at the Dumont Wellness Center.

He was born Oct. 18, 1913, in Muscatine, son of Gustavus and Floy Katharyn Baker Allbee. He married Mercedes McKee on June 27, 1937, in Tucson, Ariz. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Allbee graduated from Muscatine High School and received his DDS degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. He worked as a dentist in Davenport, until his retirement. He was a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include: a daughter, Christine A. Sampson of Bettendorf; a son, Richard A. (Kathy) of Hampton; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Preceded in death by: a son, Douglas Allan.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Dumont Reformed Church, with visitation for an hour before. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, is assisting the family.
