SPRINGFIELD Milton E "M E ' Boaen 72. died Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Effingham County and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. A carpenter, he was a Navy veteran of World War II Surviving are six daughters. Marty Kathryn Edwards of Milledgeville. Barbara Boaen of Tybee Island, Margaret Biggers of Collins, Eleanor Cribbs of Metter, Joyce Beasley of Lyons and Teresa Bender of Vidalia : four sons. Donald and Jimmy Boaen, both of Vidalia . Larry Boaen of Pulaski and Joe Boaen of Twin City, two sisters, Eva Barefield of Hephhzibah and Frances Turner of Waynesboro; 28 grandchildren: and four great-grandchildren Funeral: 2:30 p.m. today at Thomas C Strickland Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel, burial in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery,
