GRINNELL - James B. Lang, 87, of Grinnell, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, in the Grinnell Regional Medical Center of multi-system failure. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Grinnell Christian Church. Interment: Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell. Friends may call beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, Grinnell, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Lang of Grinnell; six children, Steven Lang of Broomfield, Colo., Deborah Younkin of Ames, Ray Lang, Janna Stoker, Jerry Lang and Paul Lang, all of Grinnell; two brothers, Eugene Lang of Grinnell, and John Lang of Traer; and three sisters, Grace Davidson of Cedar Rapids, Jane Thompson of Grinnell, and Carol Shaner of St. Clair Shores, Mich.
