Maria died March 14, 1864, in Waldmünchen, Bavaria, Germany. Daniel married a second time, to Katharina Rötzer, the niece of his first wife.
At the age of 19, Theresia immigrated to America with her father, step-mother and her siblings on April 6, 1872, arriving presumably at Castle Garden in New York, New York.
Theresia married Joseph Xavier Nachreiner on June 13, 1872. Joseph was also born at Waldmünchen, but had immigrated at age 8 on August 15, 1854.
Theresia and Joseph Nachreiner had 9 children: Joseph Michael, Robert Alois, Daniel, Otilla "Tillie", Albert, Lidwina "Liddie", Carl "Herbert", Margaret Mary, and Rudolph Simon Nachreiner.
Theresia died at age 41 on June 8, 1894, in Sauk County, Wisconsin.
