Sharon Rose Calloway, 44, of Niantic died Friday (May 30, 1997) in her residence.
Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery.
Sharon was born in Decatur on Feb. 14, 1953, the daughter of Robert and Norma Jean Christopher Lee. She was a clerk for Schuerman Lock. She was a member of Niantic United Methodist Church and formerly a member of Long Creek Appaloosa Club. She married Franklin L. Calloway on Aug. 7, 1971.
Surviving are her husband; son, Damien of Decatur; daughter, Heather of Decatur; father, Robert of Decatur; sister, Marie Dores of Decatur; grandmother, Stella Mae; six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother.
