Alice Brown Doughton was the first daughter and second child of Josephine Brown Doughton (1882-1946) and James Kemp Doughton (1884-1973). She was incredible. She is buried with her sister, Josephine Doughton Gregory and brother-in-law, David Lawson Gregory. Both her sister and her brother, James Kemp Doughton, Jr., predeceased her. She was survived by her neice, Josephine Gregory Thomas, and nephew, David Doughton Gregory, and by Mrs. Thomas' two children, Dana Lamont Thomas, Jr. And Joseph David Thomas.
