Alvin Perry Boyter was oldest son of Robert L. and Elizabeth M. (Louisa) Walls Boyter. The Boyter Family lived in Hall Co., TX and were farming there. Alvin was listed in the W W 1 registration cards in Memphis, Hall Co, TX on Aug 24, 1918. He was living with his family at that time. Alvin met his future wife, Estelle, most probably, at a community dance where Estelle's brother Dick Evans played the guitar and Alvin's future brother-in-law, Charlie Riddlespurger, played the fiddle and all the young people of the community gathered. He and wife Estelle had 3 sons and two daughters. During the 1930s he worked for Amarillo Gas Co. as did brother-in-laws Terry, Dick and Charlie.
