Fredia E. Cole, age 77, of Pierce City, MO died on Sunday, April 03, 2011, at Christian Health Care of Republic in Republic, MO.

Fredia was born in Ava, MO on Monday, June 12, 1933. She was the daughter of Irvin and Lotie (Hoard (sic)[HORD]) Harper.

Mrs. Cole was the widow of Homer Cole who preceded her in death on December 24, 1996.

They owned and operated a surey (sic) [survey] stake business in Pierce City, MO. She was also a homemaker and a Baptist.

Surviving are the following: five children, Brenda S. Mick of Liberty, TX, Ronnie Crow of Pierce City, MO; Bobby Crow of Pevitt, AR; Ewentha Thomas of Muskogee, OK; and Edwina Rice of Okay, OK; two sisters, Joyce Harper of Ava, MO and Goldie Scott of Ava, MO; three brothers, Wayne Harper of Ava, MO, Billy Harper of Ava, MO, and Don Harper of Anamosa, IA; twenty-three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Lawrence Crow.

The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Wednesday, April 06, 2011, from 12:30 - 2:00 PM.

Services will follow visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. J J Martin officiating.

Burial will follow at Van Buren Cemetery in Wentworth, MO.
