Doris was born in Idaho to Walter Floyd and Susie Heft Cullen. She was the fourth of four children.
The family then moved to Nebraska before coming to Klamath County in 1937.
She married Clyde Ash in December 1942. They remained in Klamath Falls all their lives.
She enjoyed horses and horseback riding, fishing, gardening and camping. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Most importantly, she loved being with her family and children.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Paul Flury of Klamath Falls; sons and daughters-in-law, Dana and Charlotte Ash of Tacoma, WA, and Terry and Gordene Ash of McMinnville, OR; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, in 1973, a son Larry in 1966, two brother, Forest and Cecil Cullen, a sister, Mildred Bray and both parents.
