Oma Carberry, 77, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday in a Knoxville hospital following a long illness.
She was born in Sullivan County and was a member of the Double Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray Sells, Fall Branch, Mrs. Clyde Armstrong, Kingsport; one brother, E. C. Bruner Omaha, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday at the Double Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley Long, Rev. Tom Crawford, Rev. Elmer Luster and Rev. A. V. Nickhols officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Morrell, Ralph Carberry, Paul Lady, Carl Lady, Carson Cox and J. D. Jones. The body will remain at the Fall Branch Funeral Home until one hour before the services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Monday.
