Grace Imogene Reece, 82, of Emporia, Kan., died Friday, July 23, 2004 at Newman Hospital in Emporia, Kan.
She was born May 25, 1922 in Rye, Arkansas to Joseph Elexander Logsdon and Larcie Lee Brown.
She was a longtime resident of Ulysses, Kan., and also lived in Siloam Springs, Ark. for several years.
She worked as a housekeeper and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Reece; four sisters, Ada Collins, Edna George, Mary Little and Minnie Brown; one brother, Bill Logsdon; and one son, Kenneth Anglin.
Survivors include four sons, Roy Arange of Hugoton, Kan., Keith Mackie of Carson City, Nev., George Mackie of Cane Hill, Ark., John Reece of Adamstown, MA.; two daughters, Joan Mackie Trevino of Pasadena, Texas and Carolyn Lemon of Emporia, Kan.; one sister, Martha Sanderson of Silver City, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. David McBride.
Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery near West Siloam Springs, Okla. Arrangements are by the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
