Jess Cahoon passed away at his home, 527 High Street in Carthage, Missosuri. He had resided in the community for 50 years prior to his death. He had been married and widowed twice. His first marriage was to May Guinn Cahoon and his second marriage was to Helen surname n/a Cahoon.

He had been employed as a painter

He was 57 years, 11 months & 12 days old when he died of complications of chronic alcoholism and a coronary occlusion.

Dr. R. W. Webster M.D. was the attending physician/coroner.
Funeral arrangements were taken care of by Knell Mortuary.
