Patricia Berg Wade 1945 ~ 2006

Our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Patricia Berg Wade, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones May 24, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a courageous battle with lymphoma. Pat was a fighter and endured to the end, with grace and humility.

She was born August 9, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank Carl and Beatrice Romney Berg. She was the third of four children and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Highland High School where she met and fell in love with her eternal companion, David R Wade.

She also attended Brigham Young University. They were married June 6, 1966, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they loved to travel, go on walks and serve the Lord. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.

Even until the very end of her difficult health trials she was constantly thinking of how she could help and serve others. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in multiple callings, most recently as Relief Society President.

She is survived by her loving husband, David R Wade of Draper and seven children: Todd (Stacy) Wade of Sandy; Jeff (Danielle) Wade of Bluffdale; Chad (Angie) Wade of College Station, Texas; Natalie (Matthew) Griffiths of Draper; Michael John (Jill) Wade of Sandy; Suzanne (Christian) Andersen of St. George; and Danielle Wade of Draper; 10 grandchildren, and three siblings, Judy (Kent) Merrill of South Jordan; David (Pat) Berg of Park City; and Cindy (Brent) Palmer of Sandy. Preceded in death by her father and mother.
