GLEN ELSON, 77, of Keytesville, MO died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at his home. Glen was born September 28, 1933 in Blackburn, MO, the son of Charles W. and Mildred Amanda (Stephens) Elson. Glen was a 1951 graduate of Keytesville High School. He married Leeleath Sanders on August 26, 1955 in Salisbury, MO and she preceded him in death on September 7, 2001.

Glen served in the US Army. He attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall. Glen was a farmer and heavy equipment operator.

Glen is survived by two sons Doug Elson (Diane) of Salisbury, Daryl Elson (Jay) of Salisbury, two daughters Dora Palmer (Terry) of Keytesville, Denise Walser (Keith) of Salisbury, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, a niece Deanna Wright of Keytesville, sister-in-law Judy Richardson of Keytesville and many cousins. His parents and wife preceded him in death.

Visitation is 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, December 31st at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with services following at 2:00 p.m. Burial in Miami Cemetery in Miami, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami Cemetery Association.
