THOMASVILLE--Mrs. Eunice Darr Clinard, 83, widow of Curtis Clinard and resident of Rt.1, Old Greensboro Road, died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in City Memorial Hospital. She received injuries in an accidental fire two weeks ago and had been hospitalized since that time. She was born in Davidson County, January 29, 1886, a daughter of Erastus and Nettie Leonard Darr. Her husband died on June 9, 1953. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and a member of Class 2 of the church Sunday school.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lamont (Nellie) Beck of Barnwell St. and Mrs. J.C. (Dorothy) Jones of Moore St.; three sons, Lloyd Clinard, Clifton Clinard and George Clinard, all of Thomasville; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Belle Green of Charlotte, Mrs. Lawrence Kennedy of Rt.4, Thomasville, Mrs. Crayton Clinard of Rt. 1, Thomasville, Mrs. Elma Long of Rt. 1, Lexington and Mrs. Marvin Jackson of Rt. 1, Thomasville; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Fairview United Methodist Church by Rev. Carl A. Haire and Rev. John Moretz. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
