Passed away April 3, 2010 after a short illness. Born in Lee County, South Carolina October 1, 1936 to George Baker and Sadie Dyson. He is survived by son Robert Baker II, daughter Schleah, 2 granddaughters Meghan and Isabella, 2 grandsons Spencer and Scott Peterson. 3 brothers: Marion Baker, Clyde Riley and wife Chere, and James Riley; 2 sisters Helen R. and husband Jay Walker, Debbie R. and husband Charles Pace, Uncle James Dyson and wife Martha Nell, many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Bobbi Jean Peterson.

Bobby served in the U.S. Army honorably including service in the Korean Conflict. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. He was an entrepreneur most of his life in Morgan City, Louisiana and long time resident of Mobile, Al. Many may know him as owner of the following Mobile businesses: Hubcap Heaven, BB Auto & Truck Cleanup, R&S Car Sales and BB's Used Tires.

Bobby was honorably laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery on April 7, 2011 and will be missed greatly.
