Dr. Wesley Louis Ingram, our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on March 30, 2011 in Northern California, following complications from stroke in August of 2009.

Wes was born August 28, 1924 in Lapeer, Michigan and served as sergeant in the US Army during World War II, which he received the Purple Heart. He attended College at University of London after the war.

Wes married Donna Anderson in July 1953. He attended college at UCSF in California and graduated with a degree in dentistry. Wes also began the pre-dentistry program at the U of U.

Wes had a private dental practice in Salt Lake City, Utah for forty-eight years in which he regarded his patients as members of his extended family.

Wes was an avid sailor and a dynamic force in tourism and public understanding of the Great Salt Lake. He was instrumental in forming the Utah High School Hockey program. He moved to Oakley, California in 2009 to accompany his family who had been caring for him.

Survived by his wife Donna, two sons Steven Ingram (Heather), Richard Elliott (Mary), brother's, Lowell, Hank, Larry, Leslie.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, followed by a dedication of veteran/grave committal.
