Mrs. Wood, 76, died Thursday at Baxter County Regional Hospital. Formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa, she had been a resident here for the past seven years. She was a housewife and member of the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Born on February 1, 1908, at Union, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Nettie Wood Pierce and George Pierce. She and A.B. Wood were married on October 8, 1938, at Montesano, Washington.

Survivors include her husband, and one son, Charles Wood of Iowa City, Iowa.
