Vivian L. Burtner, 82, died Wednesday in Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Burtner was a graduate of Hartford City High School. She was a secretary for Warner Gear and was the first woman hired in Plant 3.
Mrs. Burtner was a member of Shawnee Heights Baptist Church and attended Full Gospel Temple. She was a member of Amor Sororis Chapter of Verus Olson Sorority.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Burtner, and a brother-in-law, Harold Burtner (wife-Theresa).
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Calling will be an hour before services Saturday at Parson Mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association of any charity.
