MAN DIES OF
HEART FAILURE
Charles Dansbee, 29, 1510 Bronson, died about 1 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital after he suffered an apparent heart attack shortly before midnight at his home.
Dansbee, who was born Jan. 1, 1930 at Hamilton, Tex., had been a resident of Carlsbad for the past eight years and was employed as a mechanic at the B&G Garage, 101 N. Canal.
He had been a member of the National Guard for 11 years and was also a member of the Micro Midget Race Club.
Dansbee began complaining about not feeling well before he went to bed Friday night. He woke his wife up early Saturday morning and she took him to the hospital where he was being treated by a local physician when he died.
Funeral services in charge of Carpenter Funeral Home are pending. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens. Pinkie Adams, minister of Jehovah's Witnesses, will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Dansbee; his mother, Mrs. Virginia Dansbee of Portales, his father, D. Dansbee who lives in California; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Dansbee of Hamilton and Mrs. Lydia Lawrence of Portales; one brother, Bill of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Mrs. Victor Marshall of Las Cruces and Mrs. Lonnie Sprowels of El Paso.
