Rodney died Wednesday October 6th of a self inflicted gunshot wound in a Sunnyvale apartment.
He was a 1970 graduate of Buscher High School, where he was a two-time All-American in water polo. After two years of water polo at West Valley College, he was enrolled at DeAnza College this fall.
Rodney is survived by his parents Mel and Lee Klassen of Santa Clara. Brother of John and Duane Klassen, also of Santa Clara.
