S. Sgt. Ted spent his early years in the Yakima Valley. He attended Sunnyside Schools and graduated from Sunnyside High School with the class of 1964. He designed the logo used in the graduation albums of the High School for several years.
On August 21, 1968, he entered the United States Army and received his basic training at Ft. Lewis where he later served as a drill instuctor. He had seved in Vietnam, Hawaii, Washington, and Georgia, and was assigned to Korea in Sept. of 1979. He had recently received the Army's highest Peace -time Commendation Medal for meritorious service as a training instructor at Ft. Benning.
He is survived by his wife and 3 daughters; his parents; grandfather; two sisters; and a brother.
