Miss Evelyn Rogers died at her home in Statesboro, April 22, after an extended illness.
Miss Rogers was manager of Tilli's Department Store in Statesboro for twenty-five years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Statesboro.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Kitty Hull of Statesboro, a brother, Cecil Rogers of Hollywood, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 24, at Statesboro First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. J. Robert Smith and Elder T. Roe Scott. Burial was in Eastside cemetery.
