Longview--Burial rites for Henry Davis, 64, a native of Lamar County, will be held Wednesday, March 22, at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Chapel Cemetery near Chicota, after a 10:00 a.m. service in Radar Funeral Home in Longview. Douglas Rohre, Church of Christ minister, will officiate.
Son of the late William Martin Davis and the former Sarah Emma McNeely, Henry was born July 8, 1903. He lived in Longview at 709 Owning St., having moved here in 1964. He had been an employee of the Resistol Hat Company.
Survivors include his wife, the former Tinie Smith; two children, Mrs. Norene Barnes of Broomfield, CO, and Henry D. Davis of Hill Air Force Base, UT; one granddaughter; sisters, Mrs. Delphia Wisener and Mrs. Dempsie Lindsey, of Idabel, OK; brothers, Ralph Delaney Davis of Paris and Morris Jackson Davis of Daingerfield.
