She and her husband farmed around Monmouth until 1958 when they moved to Alexis, IL.
She worked at Formfit and the Monmouth Pottery, both in Monmouth; as a cook in Moline, IL, and at Seafords in Rock Island, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Agnes (Walker) and Edward Jackson Tomlinson; three sisters, Martha Ann Tomlinson, Mary Elizabeth Skinner-Barron and Gladys Genevieve Davis; and three brothers, Clarence Everette Tomlinson, James Elmer Tomlinson, and John Edward Tomlinson.
Surviving are three daughters, Gloria Josserand (Jerry) of Springfield; Kay DeBuysere (Richard) of Taylor Ridge; and Bonnie Greene (Don) of New Kensington; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
