Marjorie J. Powell, 87, of Fredricktown died February 12, 2005 at Hillcrest Care Ceneter in De Soto, Missouri.
She was born January 22, 1918 in Taum Sauk, Reynolds County, a daughter of John William Parker and Elzona May Parker.
On October 18, 1936 she was married to William A. Powell.
Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband; and one son, William D. Powell.
Surviving Mrs. Powell are five sons, Jerry L. Powell of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Ray Powell of Jackson, Missouri, Gary R. Powell of Jackson, Missouri, Ed Powell of Dittmer, Missouri and Myron Powell of Cedar Hill.
She had 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Powell was a member of the Bethel United Church and of the Baptist faith.
Servives were held February 15, 2005 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home with Reverand Bob Graham officationg. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredricktown.
Pallbears were: Jerry Powell, Ray Powell, Gary Powell Eddie Powell, Myron Powell and Kenny Parker.
