ALEXANDRIA- Retired a year ago from Continental Can Inc., in Elwood, Earl L. Lewis, 63, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Community Hospital.
He was a member of First Christian Church, American Legion, Elks Lodge, and he served with the Coast Guard in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Louise (Fraundorfer); a daughter, Judith (Kenneth) Willis of Anderson; and a sister, Beulah (Willis) Marlow of Alexandria.
Funeral rites will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Noffze Funeral Home by the Rev. Edwin Clark. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Alexandria.
