Dorcas Gale Snow, age 89, of Rising Sun, MD, died on January 31, 2010 at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. Born in Wytheville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Ida Virginia Pauley Sult and wife, for 46 years, of the late Thomas S. Snow. She received her G.E.D. at the age of 77 and loved cooking and collecting many recipe books. She also enjoyed reading and doing embroidery. She was always active in church with the Jehovah Witness. Mrs. Snow is survived by her daughters, Betty G. Laney and husband, Wendell B. Laney Jr., of Glen Burnie, MD and Patsy J. Simpson and husband, William E. Simpson, of Rising Sun, MD; sister, Ida Frances Sorenson of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Robin C. Laney of Stevensville, MD, Loretta J. Metzger of Elkridge, MD, and Wayne A.
