Aloma C. 'Scottie' Divebliss, of OKC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Aloma was born on August 9, 1917 in OKC to Charles and Mary (Burleson) Chasteen. She was known by her family as being a wonderful baker and cook. Aloma loved music, especially playing the piano, also was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing. She was a PTA President and a Sunday School Teacher for all ages. Aloma was deeply involved in all aspects of her children's & grandchildren's lives, whom she loved very dearly. She married the love of her life in 1939, Ernest Divelbiss. Aloma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest; and one brother, Charles E. Chasteen. She is survived by her two sons, Ernest and Era Lou Divelbiss, Jr., and Robert & Penny Divelbiss; 2 daughters, Jane & Dale Davidson, and Mary Coney; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Wed., Nov. 28, 2007, at Exchange Ave. Baptist Church.
