Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist Church for Mrs. H. O. Hughes with Rev. (?) of Atlanta, assisted by the (?) pastor of the Upland Church (?) Westadt. Mrs. Lars Ibien, Mrs. Tyler Hendricks, George Worley, and (?) Augsterman rendered the song (?) with Mrs. Elmer Bunger playing the accompaniment. Pall bears were Elmer Steinke, Walter Stark, (?) Anderson, Richard Danielsen, (?) Meiner and Henry Buttenschoen. Burial was in the Upland Cemetery. A sister of Mr. Hughes, Mrs. W. L. Blizzard of Rocky Ford, Colorado arrived Saturday to attend the funeral.
