Harvey "Shorty" Conner, age 86, of Sullivan, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
He is survived by:
Wife, Ruth Conner
Two Daughters, Trina & Ray Davis, Rebecca & Jeff Jones
Two Sons, Frank & Carolyn Conner, David & Terry Strous
Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty-nine Great-Grandchildren
Visitation from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be at Moore Memorial Chapel at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 1, 2011.

Harvey "Shorty" Eugene Conner of Sullivan, Missouri was born on Wednesday, September 17, 1924 in Wappapello, Missouri a son of the late, Maggie (Owens) Conner and Albert Conner. Harvey departed this life on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the St. Clair Nursing Center, St. Clair, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-six years, six months and twelve days.

Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Ruth (Northcutt) Conner of Sullivan, Missouri; two daughters, Trina Davis and husband, Ray of Richwoods, Missouri, Rebecca Jones and husband, Jeff of St. James, Missouri; two sons, Frank Conner and wife, Carolyn of DeSoto, Missouri, David Sprous and wife, Terry of DeSoto, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, also surviving are numerous step grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Wielms, Cathy Neff, two grandchildren, Paula Weinmann and Michael Clinton.

Harvey or "Shorty" as he was well known enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to work in his garden and was able to grow huge vegetables. Harvey was the oldest of fifteen children. "Shory" will be greatly missed by all.

A Funeral Service was held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor David Godat officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Andrew Davis, Isaias Penaloza, Kyle Weinmann, Rodger Wielms, Bryan Wielms, Cody Kohm and Kenny Recar.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Horine Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri.
