Obituary:

Holley Lewis Arnold age 68, passed away in a Whitney hospital at 9:15 P.M. Saturday night, Aug 21.
A retired farmer Mr. Arnold was born in Hill County near Whitney, Texas. He spent most of his life in Whitney. in 1902 he married Miss Avie Moss. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Whitney for 45 years.
Among the survivors are his wife; five sons, Louie and Garland of Whitney, Homer of Fort Worth, Billy of Tatum, N. M. and L. Q. of Baytown; two daughters Mrs. Pearl Brown of Brandon and Mrs. Juanita Arnold of Ft. Worth; two brothers Francis of Merkel and West of Breckenridge.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock Monday morning from the First Meyhodist Church in Whitney. Rev. F. E. Weller and Rev. J. E. Morgan officiated. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
